How to submit a work via Uark Blackboard

You’re having trouble uploading your homework to Blackboard. Learn how to upload a file or use the text box to submit an assignment via Blackboard by reading on.

Uploading a file from your computer is preferable over utilizing the Text Box to submit an assignment. This is because if something goes wrong (such as Blackboard crashing, the timer expiring, or you losing power), you will not lose your work. Both methods for submitting your homework are outlined below.

  • Blackboard can be accessed at learn.uark.edu.
  • Select Courses from the menu on the left, then click the Course Name.
  • Determine the location of your task. In this instance, choose Assignments.
  • Click the specific assignment’s name.
  • Choose from Option A or B and complete the steps in the corresponding section.

Option A

  • To upload a file in the “Assignment Submission” area, click the Browse Local Files button.
  • Select the file you wish to upload, then click Open.
  • Select the Send button.
  • Check the top of the screen to determine if your assignment was submitted correctly.

Option B

  • Click the Write Submission button in the Assignment Submission section.
  • Type your assignment into the supplied text box.
  • Select the Send button.
  • Check the top of the screen to determine if your assignment was submitted correctly. Additionally, you will receive an email confirmation whenever you submit an assignment.

Contact your instructor immediately if you did not submit the correct file or your work was not submitted properly and your instructor does not permit multiple submission attempts. To remove or resubmit assignments, the Blackboard Help Desk requires instructor approval.
