My courses not showing up in my account.

If your courses do not appear in your Canvas account, please consider the following possibilities.

  • Registered in the Last 24 Hours: If you registered for your course today or yesterday, your account will not be updated for up to 48 hours.
  • Instructor Using a Different Learning Management System: Your instructor may not be using Canvas this semester. Verify that your courses are listed on the Rutgers Sakai and Rutgers Blackboard learning management systems.
  • The majority of courses do not become accessible to students until the First Day of the Semester.
  • The University may remove your enrollment from the course roster if you have not confirmed your registration or made any payments toward your term cost. WebReg Rutgers allows you to verify that you are still registered for your courses.

Rutgers canvas on a mobile device

Canvas may be accessed from any browser on an iOS device. However, for the optimal Canvas viewing experience, the mobile app should be utilized.
