Your myUSF login account is the University of South Florida Student portal. It offers you access to the USF network, your USF email, Canvas, and other services. You’ll use your account to make your enrollment deposit, register for classes, apply for housing, and more.

Students, educators, and staff can access CANVAS, GEMS, FAST, OASIS all in one place. My USF enables virtual workspaces for departments and individual workgroups to exchange and cooperate on various projects. You will need your NetID to log in.

How to log into myUSF

To access USF portal,

  • Proceed to my.usf.edu.
  • Use the “myUSF” link.
  • Provide your NetID.
  • Enter your password then.
  • Log in to see the dashboard for your account.

Your myUSF account will grant you access to the USF network and other services. You’ll use your account to submit your enrollment deposit, register for classes, and apply for housing, among other things.

How to activate your NetID

Your NetID is your USF email address and login ID. The methods below will assist you in activating your NetID so that you may access USF systems.

  1. The URL netid.usf.edu is netid.
  2. Click the Activate NetID button.
  3. Select one of the following: USF ID Number. Email address. If Your NetID Exists Already You will have the opportunity to seek up your NetID or change your NetID password; steps 4 through 9 are optional.
  4. Please review the “USF Computer and Network Access Agreement.”
  5. Select a NetID from the six offered possibilities.
  6. Click Submit.
  7. Create a password for the specified NetID based on the conditions provided.
  8. Enter the password again to confirm it.
  9. Click Submit.

You will receive confirmation of your NetID and U-number. The activation could take up to one hour to finish.

How to reset your password

  • Click on netid.usf.edu
  • Click Change Password for NetID.
  • Sign in with your USF email address and password.
  • Enter your old password in the section labeled old password.
  • Enter your new password in both fields labeled New Password.
  • Click Submit.

Setting up password recovery options

  • Click on netid.usf.edu
  • Click the link to Configure Password Recovery Options
  • Enter your USF email address (netid@usf.edu) and password.
  • Click Now or Change next to the option you wish to configure (pictured below)
  • You must configure at least one of the options offered.
  • Enter the information requested by the option
  • Click the Complete button (pictured below)
  • MyUSF, the University Web Portal, provides the gateway to your USF Canvas courses.

How to access usf canvas within MyUSF

The MyUSF portal is a collection of web-based services offered to faculty, staff, and students of the University of South Florida. Canvas, OASIS, online USF communities and groups, email access, libraries, the Campus Bookstore, and several more student services and resources are among these. To acquire access to the MyUSF site, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Apply for your USF ID card

The USFCard (identity card) is required for all University of South Florida students participating in distant learning. The USFCard is the University of South Florida’s official identity card.

The USFCard is a multifunctional card featuring a digitized photo, electronic identification, and validation that departments can use to verify student and/or staff status. The USFCard was created to provide a variety of services and functions.

New students must request their first USFCard via MyBullsPath or the USFCard Request Site.

All other requests, including replacement card requests, must be submitted online using the USFCard Request Site.

Step 2: Activate your NetID

The Net ID is a secure username and password required to access the MyUSF Portal (the gateway to your course in Canvas). Go to netid.usf.edu/una and click “Activate your USF NetID” to obtain a Net ID.

  • Input your First and Last Names in the available fields.
  • Click the principal identifier you intend to employ (U-number or USF ID card number).
  • Follow the directions on-screen.
  • Following the receipt of your NetID, you will be prompted to create a password for your account.
  • Record your username and password.

Step 3: Sign in to MyUSF

MyUSF Portal can be found at my.usf.edu (Use your Net ID and Password from Step 2 to log in).

University of San Francisco student portal

The student portal for the University of San Francisco, California (USFCA) is also known as myUSF.

To log in, visit myusf.usfca.edu and click the LOG IN option in the upper right corner. To log in, enter your username and password on the login screen.

How to set up MyUSF account – usfca students

Here is how to create a myUSF account:

  • In the Username field of myusf.usfca.edu/caslogin, enter the username supplied in your acceptance letter.
  • Leave the password field empty (your USF ID number is NOT your password).
  • Click “Having Trouble Signing In?”
  • Choose “Reset Password”
  • You will be required to enter your username again.
  • The subsequent screen will request a code. Check your email for a message from no-reply@sailpoint.com containing a code. Be sure to also check your spam folder.
  • Input the temporary code in the box provided.
  • You will be guided through the password creation process.
