myUHD Login Portal and Blackboard 2022| Full Guide

myUHD is the student portal utilized by the University of Houston-Downtown students. You will use myUHD 2.0 to access your student information including registering for classes, viewing Financial Aid, making payments, and more. ​

In this post, I’ll guide you through how to access your UHD login site, how to access UHD blackboard, and how to request your transcripts.

How to log into myUHD

To access the University of Houston-Downtown login interface, enter the following information:

  • Using your web browser, visit uhd.edu/myuhd.
  • The “Students” link will bring you to the login page.
  • Enter your UHD Username on the sign-in page.
  • Enter your password then.
  • Click “Log in” to gain access to your portal.

How to log into uhd blackboard

The University of Houston-Downtown utilizes Blackboard as their learning management system.

  • Visit www.uhd.edu to view the UHD website.
  • In the main menu, select Blackboard.
  • Click the blue “Login” button on the IT: Blackboard page.
  • You’ll be redirected to Blackboard. (https://bb.uhd.edu) If you are Faculty, Staff, or a Student at UHD, click the Login Here link. If you’re enrolled in non-credit courses, choose Non-Credit, Other Login.
  • You are being redirected to the UHD O365 login page. Enter your email address and password to log in.
  • Select the My Blackboard tab to access your course list.
  • After your initial login, your courses will be displayed in the page’s center. You can gain access by clicking the course’s name.

UHD Bb will be utilized in the Fall, Winter Mini, Spring, and Summer terms. Ensure that you log in using your UHD gatormail (for instance, gatore9@gator.uhd.edu). This often includes your last name, initial, and number.

Some Blackboard users report receiving an authentication expired error notice when logging in. Users are unable to log in to the UHD Blackboard system due to the problem.

Clearing your browser’s cache and cookies is the only way to fix this error after it has occurred. Depending on your browser, the procedures necessary to delete your cache and cookies will vary.

When you are through using UHD Blackboard, you must always log out and click “End SSO session” to prevent this problem from occuring in the future.

UHD account password reset

Your network password provides access to MyUHD, Email, PCs, PASS, VPN, Blackboard, and WiFi, among other services. If you like to reset or change your UHD password, please follow the below instructions.

How to update a password for a network account

  • Click the top Network Account icon to access the login page.
  • Click the down arrow next to the person icon along the top.
  • Select Change Password, then complete the fields and click the red Save button.

How to reset network account password

  • Click the top Network Account icon to access the login page.
  • Click the option labeled Forgot/Reset My Password.
  • Enter your login and then press the Submit button.
    • Contact the IT Service Desk at (713) 221-8080 if you are unaware of your username.
  • Enter the email address or mobile phone number associated with your UHD account.
  • Select your preferred method and click the Send New Password button if the information is already on file.

How to request for transcripts

Official UHD transcript requests are made through the MyUHD student login. You may submit your request for an official or unofficial transcript by logging in and clicking on the Student Records and Enrollment tile.

All requests for official UHD transcripts will be handled within two to three business days, with the exception of students who have completed courses at South Texas Junior College or who attended UHD before to summer 2012. ​

These requests could take up to five to seven business days to process. Contact the Registrar’s Office at uhdtranscript@uhd.edu for further assistance.

A $10 fee will be assessed for each printed official transcript requested for pick-up or mailing. During high registration and grade posting periods, please allow three to four business days after the request is received.

If someone other than the student will be picking up the transcript, they should contact the registrar’s office at uhdtranscript@uhd.edu for information about a supplemental form.

How to request an official transcript

To request an official transcript, please take the following steps:

  • Access the myUHD page for UHD.
  • Choose “Students”
    • Username (User ID) and password required.
  • Select the “Student Records & Enrollment” tile after logging in.
  • Select “Request Official Transcript”​.
  • Examine the requested transcript details and choose the suitable transcript type.
    • Please choose from “Mail to a Specific Address” and “Send to My Address.” Students who attended before Summer 2012 and created a student profile can only acquire printed copies of their transcripts. If you submit a request for an electronic or PDF transcript, the processing of your request will be delayed.
  • Continue with your transcript request.
  • To finalize and confirm your request, click “Submit.”

Follow the steps below to secure payment for an official transcript or transcripts:

  • Click the house icon in the upper right corner of the page to return to the “Home” screen.
  • Select “Student Center”​.
  • Under Finances, pick “Charges Due” and then click “Make a Payment.”
  • Review the payment information and choose the appropriate processing charge type.
  • To complete payment submission, click “Submit.”
  • After entering your payment information, click “Continue.”
  • Click “Confirm” to confirm your payment submission.
