myMDC: MDC Student Portal Access Simple Guide 2022-2023

Your MyMDC Account provides you with online access to your email, financial assistance, scholarship awards, grades, and other crucial information pertinent to your academic journey at Miami Dade College.

My MDC account is the login and password needed to validate your identity when utilizing all MDC website web services.

How to log into mdc student portal

  • Access by navigating to
  • Select MDC Connect Sign In
  • Enter your login ID
  • Provide your password
  • To gain access to your courses and grades, click “Sign In.”

Additionally, you can log in using the myMDC Mobile App.

How to create myMDC Account

You must be a former or currently enrolled student of Miami Dade College to create an account.

If you are a new student (never attended Miami Dade College before), you must first submit an application to Admissions and be accepted into the College. This can be done online.

What you need to know to create your MyMDC account

You will be required to submit the following information about yourself:

  • Student Identification Number or Social Security Number
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Year of Birth

After the system has determined your identity, you will be prompted to:

  • Accept the computing policies of MDC
  • Establish a password
  • Create a challenge question and answer that can be used in the event that you forget your password.

Following completion, you will receive your MyMDC username and student email account. You will need to keep in mind:

  • Your login name and passphrase
  • Your Student Identification number
  • The solution to the challenge question you will construct.

To upgrade your MyMDC account username the following procedures are required.

  • You will first need to update your name at the Admissions & Registration office. A good photo ID with your current legal name must be presented along with documentation of the name change.
  • Contact the Information Technology department at 305-237-0177 to seek a name change for your MyMDC account.

Forgotten your MDC account password?

If you have forgotten your MyMDC account password, you have the following options:

Visit the password reset page. You will be requested to input your social security number or student ID#, name, and date of birth.

The screen will then provide you your login and the option to choose a new password. If the website is not able to verify the correctness of the information you enter, it signifies that the information you are entering does not match what the College has on record.

You will need to visit the Admissions office on campus to verify that your name, social, and date of birth are right in the College database. Once the information is verified, you will be able to reset your password.

You can also call the IT Help Desk at 305-237-2505. Select Choice 1) for a password reset, and then select the option for your home campus.

Or visit any MDC campus Library or Computer Lab for assistance. A valid picture ID is necessary when resetting your password in person.
