  • Providing raw data for researchers and other user/stakeholders,
  • Preparing maps needed for various surveys and censuses,

Important Information to be collected

  • Demographic information (age, gender, relationship, marital status, citizenship, n.k.);
  • Disability status;
  • Education level Information;
  • Mobility questions, as well as information on Tanzanians living abroad
  • Ownership of essential national documents provided by the government (NIDA IDs, Zanzibar resident, birth certificate, passport, and driver’s license)
  • Daily Economic activities
  • Land tenure and ICT information
  • Maternity and Mortality rate Reports within the household
  • Maternal mortality
  • State of housing and ownership of various resources
  • Agricultural and livestock matters
  • Social security funds.

14 modules will be used to collect information on people and their settlements nationwide on The 2022 Population and Housing Census. Below are questions that will be asked by counting officers: –
