To access GCU portal,

  • Navigate to gcuportal.gcu.edu.
  • Choose Student Access
  • Enter your GCU email address (username@my.gcu.edu) on the login page.

If you are signing into the GCU student portal for the first time, you will be required to set up account recovery options.

If your account has already been configured with recovery options, the portal homepage should load.

If your account has already been configured with recovery options, but you continue to encounter the “More information required” popup, it may have multi-factor authentication activated.

The GCU Student Portal serves as a central portal for nearly all Grand Canyon University resources. You may access your LoudCloud classroom, read your counseling information, and check your GCU email from the GCU Portal site.

How to reset your GCU student portal password

You can reset the password for your GCU account through the GCU Portal. You can reset your password at any time, and the new password will apply to all websites associated with your GCU email.

You will be prompted to set up password recovery options the first time you log in to the GCU Portal.

  • Begin by visiting gcuportal.gcu.edu and clicking the Student Access or Faculty Access icon. (If you are currently logged in, you must log out in order to finish this process.)
  • If you are a student, click the link labeled Forgot my Password.
  • Enter your GCU email address (if it’s not already entered), complete the CAPTCHA, and then click Next.
  • A screen with choices to reset your password will display. Choose the appropriate procedures.
    • Email my alternate address
    • Text my phone number
    • Dial my cell phone
  • Once your password has been successfully reset, the following screen will appear. To sign in with your new password, select the “Click Here” option.
  • Your password for the GCU Student portal has been reset.

How to request your transcripts in the GCU Portal

GCU provides numerous options for requesting an official transcript. The simplest method is via the GCU Student Portal.

You can view both official and unofficial transcripts through the GCU student site.

How to request official transcripts

  • Enter your GCU email address and password to access the GCU Student Portal. Then, on the My Apps dashboard, pick the Transcript Request app.
  • Click Request Transcript to continue.
  • Select Add Recipient.
  • There are two options available for Recipient Type. Fill in the recipient information based on the selected type and determine the quantity of copies.
    • Select Other from the Recipient Type drop-down menu if you are sending your transcript to a different institution or an additional party. Enter the details for the recipient. After entering all needed fields, click Save.
    • NOTE By completing these steps, a paper copy of your transcript will be forwarded to an alternate recipient of your choosing. Contact your Student Services Counselor for assistance if you would like an official transcript to be emailed to a third party.
    • Select Student from the Recipient Type drop-down choice if you are the recipient of the transcript. If your address is stored in your GCU portal, the appropriate fields on the form will be populated with this information automatically. When you click Save, the information will be saved and you will be routed to the Add Recipient page, where you can add other recipients or complete your request.
  • Once you have completed adding recipients to the transcript request, you may submit the request by clicking Pay on the page titled Transcript Request. Official Transcript request costs $8.00 per copy to process.
  • On the Processing Payment screen, you can make any necessary last-minute adjustments. Check the “I accept the aforementioned Payment Agreement” box after reading and accepting the authorisation agreement. You have the option of entering a new credit card or using one that has already been stored to your account. To submit the transcript request or add a new credit card, click the process button.
  • After the request for a transcript has been handled, you will receive a confirmation containing the transcript’s details. Choose Close to complete the transaction, or choose a printer-friendly version to print this confirmation for your records.You may also obtain a transcript by phone, mail, email, or fax.

How to request an unofficial transcript

  • Input your credentials into the GCU Student Portal.
  • Launch Class Schedule/Grades from the dashboard of My Apps.
  • To download a PDF copy of your unofficial transcript, click Download Unofficial Transcript.
  • You can also view your active, upcoming, and completed courses from this page by clicking the plus/minus icon next to each part.

Alternately, you can retrieve your class schedule and unofficial transcript using the manner below:

  • Please visit classschedule.gcu.edu.
  • Enter your GCU username and password to log in.
  • To receive a PDF copy of your class schedule and unofficial transcript, click Download Schedule.

How to change myGCU username

If you have recently changed your legal name and would like your GCU username to reflect this change, you must first update your name in the university’s records.

Consult your Student Services Counselor about a legal name change. Your counselor’s contact information can be found within your GCU Portal.

After your instructor has released your final scores, you can access them via the GCU Portal.

Once logged in, locate and select the Class Schedule / Grades application.
Choose a program of study from the drop-down menu if you have more than one degree program.

You may view your courses in three different sections: Current, Scheduled, and Completed. Clicking the plus or minus sign next to each part allows you to filter the displayed courses.

Click the Download Schedule option at the top of the screen to obtain a complete list of your courses and grades.

How do I access my GCU Email in the GCU Portal?

After completing Grand Canyon University’s enrollment procedure, you will obtain your GCU username and GCU email account.

It is crucial to constantly check your email since you will get communications from your advisor, lecturers, and the University.

To gain access to your email, you must first log into the GCU Portal. Click the Email icon from the My Apps dashboard after logging in.

The link will take you to your Outlook mailbox.

If you are accessing your email account for the first time, you might be prompted to select your preferred language and time zone. When selecting your time zone, select the one that corresponds to your location.

What is GCU LoudCloud?

The Grand Canyon University’s learning management system is called LoudCloud. Several years ago, GCU transferred students from ANGEL to LoudCloud. The many benefits of LoudCloud include quick access to course materials, intuitive navigation, an aesthetically beautiful interface, a Calendar view of assignment due dates with reminders, and a Dashboard home page that provides a concise snapshot of course events.

LoudCloud GCU Access

Simply log in to your Grand Canyon University Student Portal to have access to your LoudCloud classes. If you enter your classroom using the GCU Student Portal, your GCU email address and password serve as your login credentials. If you wish to log in directly to LoudCloud, use your regular GCU username without the @my.gcu.edu extension and the same GCU password.

GCU Housing portal

Traditional students may utilize the GCU Housing Portal app to arrange their living situation on campus. If you do not reside on campus, you cannot access this application. There are links to the housing application and roommate agreement form within the application.
